STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 32-year-old woman reported that she was robbed by a man armed with a gun on John Street in Stamford on Sunday morning, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The woman told police that she was walking north on John Street near Fairway Market at around 9:30 a.m. when a man came up from behind her and tried to grab her phone, according to the Stamford Advocate.
