Sometime between the evening hours of Wednesday, May 31 and the morning hours of Thursday, June 1, someone entered a Hyundai Elantra that was parked in the driveway of a Walmsley Road home. The car had been left unlocked, police said.
Paperwork from the Hyundai had been found in the area by a neighbor, who alerted the owner concerning the burglary. Police said that the only thing missing was a pair of eyeglasses, valued at $100. The owner was away at the time, so they did not report it until June 5.
Police conducted a canvass of the neighborhood but did not turn up any new information. There are no suspects at this time, police said.
