Wesley M. Sessa. 94, Lifelong Stamford Resident

STAMFORD, Conn. - Wesley M. Sessa, a lifelong Stamford resident, Oct. 17. He was 94.

Sessa was born April 30, 1919, son of Thomas L. Sessa and May (Campanile) Sessa. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed at Ascension Islands, a refueling station for Armed Services. He worked as an administrator in quality control for Bunker Ramo Corporation and since retirement has been an employee of Palmer Electrical Motors and Pumps, Inc. for the past 30 years. He was a faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Parish.

Sessa is survived by his children, Wesley T. Sessa and Sheila-Beth Leonard (Robert); four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Nettie M. (Claps) Sessa; brothers, Francis, Alfred, Bertum, Elmer, Kenneth and Arnold Sessa; and sister, Violet Hughes. Calling hours are Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Oaklawn Ave., Stamford.
