Sr. Evelyn E. Kane, 92, Served At St. Clement Of Rome Parish In Stamford

ALBANY, N.Y. - Evelyn Elizabeth Kane, RSCJ, of Albany died Dec. 2. She was 92.

Sister Kane was born Sept. 3, 1921, in Brooklyn, to Jasper T. and Loretta S. Kane. She taught at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, Greenwich, for 20 years and served in pastoral ministry at St. Clement of Rome Parish, Stamford.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Herbert T. Kane, SJ and Jasper, Arthur, Edward, Charles, Robert and Harold Kane.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11 in the Teresian House Chapel in Albany. Visitation immediately before Mass.
