STAMFORD, Conn. -- Sheila M. Vesciglio, a Stamford resident, died on Saturday, Jan. 2 at Smith House Health Care. She was 61.
Vesciglio was born Greenwich on Feb. 18, 1954, to John and Margaret Duggan McGuiness.
She is survived by her husband, George R. Vesciglio of Stamford; her sons, Michael G. and Christopher J. Vesciglio, both of Stamford; siblings, Maureen McGuiness of Hawaii, Patricia Bordeaux of Greenwich, John McGuiness and his wife Tracy of Stamford; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 8:40 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Interment will be private.
