Sarah Knight Budke, 68, Longtime Resident Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. - Sarah Knight Budke, longtime resident of Stamford, died Feb. 28. She was 68.

Budke was born May 20, 1944, in Denton, Texas, to Lynn Franklin Knight and Lela Kirby Knight. She was a graduate of Texas Tech University and retired from IBM in 1996 after 30 years.

Budke is survived by her husband, Robert; her sister Susan Knight Panzica (Richard), of Penn Valley, Calif., her step-son Eric Budke, 39, of Rye, N.Y.; a brother-in-law, Henry Budke (Leslie), of Kings Park, LI, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Anita Budke Tietjen (Bill), of Bloomsbury, N.J.;several nieces and nephews; three grandchildren; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
