Rosemary A. Ferrara, Retired Comptroller From Airtech In Stamford

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Rosemary Ann Ferrara of Bridgeport died May 21. She was 70.

Ferrara was born Oct. 7, 1943, in Port Chester, N.Y., to Joseph and Mary Ferrara. She graduated from the Academy of the Resurrection in Rye, N.Y., in 1961. She graduated from New York Foundling Hospital in Infant Care in 1962. She went on to become chief financial officer at Donald Art Co. until 1993 and then later worked as a comptroller at Airtech in Stamford until her retirement in 2006.

Ferrara is survived by her partner, Katherine Keane; mother, Mary Ambruso Ferrara of Bridgeport; brothers John Ferrara (Paula) of Westbrook and Thomas Ferrara of Derby; sisters Marilyn Mlynek of Bridgeport and Dolores Hanrahan (Keith) of Trumbull; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph Ferrara; and brother-in-law, Richard W. Mlynek.

Calling hours are Tuesday, May 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Services will take place Wednesday, May 28, at 9 a.m. in the funeral home, and at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
