STAMFORD, Conn. - Rose Bria Pelliccione of Stamford died Thursday, Aug. 29. She was 81.
Pelliccione was born Jan. 24, 1932, in Rose, Italy, Provence of Cosenza, to Francesco and Rosina Fiorita Bria. She was employed as an inspector at FAG Bearings and KAF Manufacturing Co. Inc. for many years before her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Maurice Roman Catholic Church.
Pelliccione is survived by her husband, Antonio Pelliccione of Stamford; children, Roseann Diana (Vincent), Joseph Pelliccione, Lina Pelliccione and Frank Pelliccione (Lavinia); three grandchildren; brother, Amerigo Bria (Carmela); and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Anthony Bria; and sister, Carmela Castiglione.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. A procession will be leave the funeral home Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 9:45 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford.
