Roledonne Samedi, 75, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. – Roledonne J. Samedi, 75, of Stamford, died on Monday, Jan. 19, at St. Camillus Health Care Center.

He was born in Haiti on July 9, 1939 to Adolphe A. and Andrelia Bruce Samedi. He was a machinist at Pitney Bowes for 18 years before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Marie Samedi, of Stamford; a daughter, Kettline Samedi of Bridgeport; a son, Donald Samedi of Stamford; two brothers, Andrelon Samedi, of Stamford and Jean Claude Samedi of Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren.

Samedi was predeceased by a son Randolph Samedi.

Visitation will be at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford on Friday, Jan. 23, from 4-8 p.m. 

A funeral service will be leaving the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 8:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 a.m. at The Basilica of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 279 Atlantic St., Stamford. Burial will follow at St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Darien.
