Rocco 'Rocky' Pangallo, 62, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. – Rocco “Rocky” Pangallo, of Stamford, died Thursday, June 25, at Stamford Hospital. He was 62.

Pangallo was born Dec. 3, 1952, in Port Chester, N.Y., to Rocco A. Pangallo and Rose (nee DeLuca) Pangallo. He graduated from J.M. Wright Technical School and worked as the director of operations at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center and as a project manager for Karp Associates in New Canaan.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Linda Corbo, and her husband, Nick.

Pangallo is survived by a sister, Lorie Dent, and her husband, Dennis of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a "brother," Mark Kuehn, and his wife, Linda, of Stamford; three nieces, Stephanie Leidel, Tina Marie Corbo and Mackenzie Kuehn; three nephews, Jon Leidel, Jonathan Kuehn and Nicholas Kuehn; and many relatives and friends.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 2, at 2 p.m. at St. Cecilia Church, 1184 Newfield Ave., Stamford.
