Roberta J. Potter, 77, Of Stamford, Worked At American Can

STAMFORD, Conn. - Roberta J. Potter of Stamford died May 4. She was 77.

Potter was born in Brooklyn on Nov. 27, 1945, to Robert and Virginia Potter. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Brooklyn. She worked at American Can as an administrative assistant for many years. She also worked at Ivey Barnum and Towers Perrin.

Potter is survived by her first cousin, Virginia Difonzo (Angelo); second cousins, Christine, William, Linda; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.

Calling hours are Thursday, May 9 from 2 to 4 and  6 to 8 p.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 2900 Summer St., Stamford. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 10 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be followed at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
