STAMFORD, Conn. – Rita Sclafani Young, a resident of Stamford, died Tuesday, March 22. She was 89.
She was born on March 8,1927, to the late Frank and Fara Maltese Sclafani of Stamford.
She attended Stamford Public Schools and worked at Conde Nast and several other Stamford locations.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles Young and step-son John Charles Young.
She is survived by her sister Juliet Sclafani of Milford; her step-daughter Peggy Rice and husband Joseph of Carthage; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Stamford on May 16.
