STAMFORD, Conn. - Richard M. Anderson of Stamford died Dec. 20. He was 64.

Anderson was born Sept. 11, 1950, in Stamford, to Milton and Anna (Betty) Anderson. He was a graduate of Stamford Catholic High School. He attended St. John's University and graduated with a degree in pharmacy. Early in his career he was a pharmacist in Greenwich and was the former owner of the Medicine Shoppe in Stamford.

Anderson is survived by his wife, Kristina; daughter, Sara (Scott) Chiappetta; sisters, Barbara Rosta and Peggy (Barry) Lueders; brothers, Mark (Sharon), Timothy (Jane), and Michael; sister-in-law, Pam Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Terrence Anderson.

Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 26 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Shippan's Thomas Gallagher Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27 at St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 914 Newfield Ave.
