Rebecca L. Wood, 81, Formerly Of Stamford, Worked For Bank Of America

TRUMBULL, Conn. - Rebecca L. Wood, formerly of Stamford, died Wednesday, July 30. She was 81.

Wood was born in Norwalk in 1932, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reinhart. She worked at Electrolux for 25 years followed by several years at Bank of America.

Wood is survived by her children, Thaxter "Butch" Parker of Mississippi, Maryellen Zaccarolo of North Carolina, William E. Wood II (Catherine) of Shelton, and Sheila Wood-Youngs (Timothy) of Cambria, Calif.; 12 grandchildren;16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William E. Wood, Sr.; daughter, Charlene Wood of Greenwich; and granddaughter, Sarah Parker.

Calling Hours will be held Friday, Aug. 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Leo P Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St. , Stamford. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 3 at St Mary's Church, Elm St., Stamford, burial will follow at St. John's cemetery Darien.
