Ramon Montalvo, Longtime Stamford Resident, 59

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Ramon Montalvo, a longtime resident of Stamford, died Monday with his family by his side. He was 59.

He was born May 18, 1955 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to the late Filomeno and Anaitalia Perez Montalvo.

Montalvo was a hardworking man. He worked for Principle Management for 15 years as a maintenance supervisor, and his career was a major part of his life. 

Montalvo loved going to local baseball games, boxing matches and tending to his garden. Montalvo paid close attention to all things found in nature. He truly enjoyed and appreciated every aspect of it.

Montalvo is survived by his wife, Juana Santana, his son, Raymond Montalvo, and his step-children, Samuel Cruz-Santana and Yahaira Roman.

Friends and relatives may call on the Montalvo family from 4-8 p.m. Friday 6 at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford. A prayer service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

A procession will leave the funeral home immediately after the service for the committal service and interment at Queen of Peace R.C. Cemetery in Stamford.

The family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, 06902.
