Circelli was born in the Bronx in 1957. He graduated from Monsignor Scanlon High School and went on to study business and to own and operate a successful Carvel ice cream store. Circelli's later business ventures included ownership and operation of a restaurant in New York City and a web marketing business.
Circelli is survived by his children, Emily and Nicholas, his sister Adrienne, and his sister Nancy Francesco.
Calling hours for Circelli will be held from 5 to 8 p,m on Friday at the Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home in Stamford. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Leo's Church in Stamford followed by a burial service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
