Patricia Lowman Dailey, 57, Of Darien, Worked In The Fashion Industry

DARIEN, Conn. - Patricia Lowman Dailey, a lifelong Darien resident, died Friday, Sept. 26. She was 57.

Dailey was born April 11, 1957, in Darien. She was in the inaugural class of Ox Ridge Elementary School in 1964, graduated from King Low Heywood School and studied in London before graduating from Hollins College in 1979. Besides Darien, she had lived in Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong for more than 10 years.

She was employed in the fashion industry starting with Ralph Lauren's Women's Wear in New York and finishing at J.Crew in New Canaan.

She was a lifelong legacy member of Wee Burn Country Club. She was a member of Larchmont Yacht Club and the Race Committee. Additionally, she was a member of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and the Singapore Cricket Club. She played competitive tennis in several leagues around Fairfield and Westchester Counties.

Dailey is survived by her husband, Mark; children, Alexander, Briton, Sarah, Christian, Malissa and Kate; son-in-law, Doug Herling; mother, Mary Lowman; brother, John (Polly); brother, Peter; aunt, Jean Lowman; many cousins; and 17 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, George Lowman.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at St. John Church, 1986 Boston Post Road, Darien, with a reception to follow at Wee Burn Beach Club, 6 Anchor Road, Rowayton. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
