Pamela Marsh Heinzer, Longtime Stamford Resident

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Pamela Marsh Heinzer, a Stamford resident, died Sunday, Nov. 24. She was 82.

Heinzer was born Feb. 27, 1931, daughter of Sarah Jewett and William Lawrence Marsh of New York City. She attended Miss Hall's school in Pittsfield, Mass., and the Nightingale-Bamford school in New York City. She grew up in New York City, and lived in Stamford for more than 60 years. She was a member of the Roxbury Community Association and the Roxbury Horseman's Association.

Heinzer is survived by her children, Charles J. Heinzer IV (Anne) of Palm City, Fla., Michael J. Heinzer (Patricia) of Bethel, Catherine Heinzer Davis (Thomas) of Castle Rock, Colo., and Peter J. Heinzer of Stony Brook; 11 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren; and and a sister, Nancy Marsh Griffin of Fort Mill, S.C. Her husband, Charles J. Heinzer III, died earlier.

Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Leo P. Gallagher F.H., 2900 Summer St., Stamford. A service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
