Oliver Womble, 73, Of Stamford, Former Stamford Wrecking Company Employee

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Oliver Womble of Bridgeport died Tuesday, Aug. 6. He was 73.

Womble was born Aug. 19, 1939, in Clarkdale, Miss., to Karo Womble and Bertha Mae Sledge.  He was formerly employed with Stamford Wrecking Company.

Womble was predeceased by his parents.

All funeral services are private.
