STAMFORD, Conn. -- Myrtle P. Hines of Stamford died on Monday, March 2. She was 85.
Hines was born on Feb. 28, 1930 in Kingston, Jamaica, to Oscar Lewison and Florence Estella Irvin.
Hines worked with Pitney Bowes Inc. until retirement.
She is survived by by two sons; Eric Hines (Patricia) and Orville Hines ( Pauline), two daughter in laws; Debbie Hines and Stacey Dennis, her stepdaughter; Merlene Simmons and a host of grandchildren, great – grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her first husband Philbert Hines and her second husband, Wilbert Jones; a son Carl Hines and grandson Jamal Hines.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a service of celebration at 11 a.m. at Wilson Memorial COGIC, 164 Richmond Hill Ave. in Stamford.
