Maureen Laughlin, 75, Formerly Of Stamford

CANTON, Ga. - Maureen Laughlin, formerly of Stamford, died Monday, Feb. 25. She was 75.

Born in Greenwich to Andrew and Josephine (Todd) Kohut, Laughlin was a longtime resident of Stamford before moving to Georgia nearly 14 years ago.

Laughlin worked for many years as a loan officer at the Stamford Municipal Credit Union. She was an active parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel in her hometown.

Laughlin is survived by her children, William (Becky) Laughlin of Oxford, Kathleen (Jerome) Bobinski of Marietta, Ga. and James (Maggie) Laughlin of Canton, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Grassi of Fairfield and Noreen Wilgus of Stamford. She was predeceased by her husband James; son, Christopher Laughlin and sisters, Eileen Kenny and Dorothy Waldron.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 1, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Fairfield. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Thomas Aquinas Building Fund, 1719 Post Road., Fairfield, CT 06824.
