STAMFORD, Conn. - Mary Elizabeth (Victoria) Leopold of Stamford, formerly of Mount Vernon and White Plains, N.Y., Saturday, Dec. 13. She was 82.
Leopold was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and then moved to Mount Vernon, N.Y., with her family. Later she worked for AT&T in White Plains, New York, where she resided with her husband for over 20 years. She has resided in Stamford since 1993.
Leopold is survived by her daughter, Valerie Scott (Neil); sons, William Leopold, Jr. (Kristen), and Raymond (Heather) residing in Texas; nine grandchildren; many cousins; nieces and nephews; and great, great nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and John; husband, William Leopold, Sr.; sisters, Katherine, Lynn and Betty; and brother, John.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Leo P. Gallagher & Sons Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 at St. Leo's Parish, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford. Burial will be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in New Rochelle, N.Y., immediately following the Mass.
