Kida was born Mary Jane White on Jan. 29, 1926, in Tampa, Fla.
She attended the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Fla. and was a graduate of the Parsons School of Design in New York City. Her greatest love was her family, gardening and her many watercolors. .
Kida is survived by her daughter Lisa, her son-in-law Joe and her granddaughter Lianne. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore, and her son, Larry.
