STAMFORD, Conn. - Mary Frances Supple, 74, of Trumbull, formerly of Stamford, died Sunday, April 19.

She was born Nov. 21, 1940, in New York City, to the late Julia O'Rourke of Ireland and Frank Borg of Malta.

After graduating Marymount Manhattan College in 1962, Supple worked briefly in New York City. She then moved to Stamford, where she lived and worked for 46 years.

She was a member of St. Gabriel's Parish in Stamford.

She also participated in Columbiettes, Catholic Charities, and the Birthright organization.

Survivors include three daughters, Maggie Supple-Flemma of Trumbull, and Julia Supple and Amy Supple, both of Stamford; two sons, Matthew Supple of Norwalk and Jeffrey Limerick of Orefield, Pa.; and nine grandchildren.

Her husband, Edmond Francis Supple; and one son, Edmond F. Supple IV, preceded her in death.

Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gabriel’s Parish, 914 Newfield Ave., Stamford.

Interment will be in the Long Ridge Union Cemetery, Erskine Road, Stamford.
