Mary DeCausey, 70, Of Stamford, Worked For DeRosas Cleaners

STAMFORD, Conn. - Mary (Bryant) DeCausey of Stamford died Thursday, Oct. 23. She was 70.

DeCausey was born July 16, 1944, to Walter and Lizzie Bryant. She was married to Daniel DeCausey. They then migrated to Stamford, in 1966. She was employed at DeRosa's Cleaners for many years and Superior Drugs.

DeCausey is survived by her children, Daniel, Jr., Tanjia, Monretha (Lloyd) Sinclair, Darrell (Rene), Inez (Jimmie) Adebayo, Stacey (Vernessa), Brian and Michael Bryant; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents.

Services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 28. Calling hours are from 9:30 to 11 a.m., followed by a service of celebration at 11 a.m. at Greater Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church, 27 Baxter Ave., Stamford, with Reverend Johnny C. Bush officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Stamford.

The Baker Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
