Mary Anne Curley, 79, Secretary For Stamford Company

YONKERS, Conn. - Mary Anne Curley, a lifelong Yonkers resident died July 28. She was 79.

Curley was born in Yonkers, daughter of Daniel and Helen Curley. She attended St. Peter's Grammar School in Yonkers and was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament High School in Yonkers, class of 1952. She worked as a secretary for the Continental Can Company in New York City and later in Stamford for over 30 years. She volunteered with the Sacramentine Sisters of St. Peter's Parish and helped with many parish functions.

Curley is survived by her cousins, Frank (Mari Lou) Farrington, Frankie (Anna), Samantha, Kevin and Brian Farrington. She was predeceased by her parents.

Calling hours are Saturday, Aug. 3 at 8:30 a.m. in the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Dobbs Ferry, NY.
