Martha Nold Hurley, 96, Of Stamford, Worked For Champion Paper

STAMFORD, Conn. - Martha Nold Hurley of Stamford died Aug. 31. She was 96.

Hurley had a lengthy career in public relations with the Today Show in New York and with Champion Paper in Stamford.

Hurley is survived by her step daughter, Joanna Hurley of Sante Fe, N.M.; and friends, Janet and Emery Filmer of Trumbull.  She was predeceased by her husband, James L. Hurley of Greenwich.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10 at First Presbyterian Church in Stamford.
