STAMFORD, Conn. - Marie Agnes Slocum of Stamford died Nov. 22. She was 95.
Slocum was born May 6, 1919, in Darien, to William C. Quell and Amelia Martin. A longtime resident of Stamford, she was employed by the City of Stamford.
Slocum is survived by her son, Robert W. Slocum (Savannah), of Georgia; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Joel Slocum.
Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 28 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with a burial immediately following at Long Ridge Union Cemetery.
