STAMFORD, Conn. - Maria Antonia Mallozzi, a resident of Stamford for the past 46 years, died May 8. She was 107.
Mallozzi was born Dec. 1, 1905, in Minturno, Italy, daughter of Vincenzo Mallozzi and Giuseppa (Portogallo) Mallozzi.
Mallozzi is survived by her children, Stefano Mallozzi of Santa Fe, Argentina, Vincenzo Mallozzi (Rosa), Immacolata (Filippa) Salvatore, and Vincenza (Armando) Perrone; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Giuseppe Mallozzi; son, Antonio Mallozzi; and brothers, Giovanni, Antonio and Pasquale.
Calling hours are Monday, May 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14 at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Entombment will take place in Minturno, Italy.
