STAMFORD, Conn. - Margaret Rose Linn died Sunday, Sept. 8. She was 78.
Linn was born Sept. 13, 1934, in Glasgow, Scotland, to Margaret and Bernard Reilly. She married Francis Linn in Scotland in 1960 and came to the United States in 1968. She was employed as a medical records coder by the Stamford Hospital and the St. Joseph Hospital. She was involved in the church and her community volunteering for many organizations. She was a member of Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Knights of Columbus Columbiettes.
Linn is survived by her sisters, Martha, Patricia, Josephine and Anne; children, Gerard and Jacqueline; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Bernard and John; sister, May; and daughter, Caroline.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 11 at Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at St. Bridget of Ireland Church on 278 Strawberry Hill Ave., Stamford.
