Lucille Lundy Lagerloef, 90, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. - Lucille Lundy Lagerloef of Stamford, formerly of Old Greenwich died Nov. 16. She was 90.

Lagerloef was born Aug. 5, 1923, in Quincy, Mass., daughter of Alice and Constantine Lundy. A graduate of Simmons College of Economics in 1945, she lived in New York City before marriage, and then moved to Greenwich. Along with raising a family, she had a paralegal career and spent time over her 50 years in Greenwich to the Greenwich Hospital Auxiliary, the Greenwich Historical Society, Simmons College and Saint Clements Church in Stamford.

Lagerloef is survived by her son, Wayne Lagerloef of Worcester, Mass., Gary Lagerloef (Marcia) of Seattle, Washington and Warren Lagerloef (Lisa) of Westport; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Eric G.; son, Tom-Eric Lagerloef; and siblings, Robert, Mary , William Constance and Francis. Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son, 31 Arch St., Greenwich. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at St. Clements Church in Stamford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greenwich Historical Society in Lagerloef’s memory.
