Lucia 'Lucy' Conley, 88, Retired Stamford Technician

STAMFORD, Conn. – Lucia "Lucy" V. Conley, a longtime resident of Stamford, died Jan. 7. She was 88.

Born Jan. 19, 1924, Conley was a daughter of Pasquale Tartaglione and Jenny Coppola Tartaglione.

She retired from Machlett Laboratories, where she worked as a technician. Upon her retirement, she loved going to the Over 60 Club.

Conley is survived by a niece, Jennifer Pope-O'Hara; a son, John Martin; two grandchildren; and several other nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Salvatore Corridor, Joseph Corridor and Anthony Masso; two sisters, Carmela Cerino and Antionette DeLuca; and two half-sisters, Pauline Chapman and Dora Taylor.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lacerenza Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at Sacred Heart Church in Stamford. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
