Montefuscoli was born March 25, 1926, in Stamford, to Nicholas and Josephine Merole DiSette. She retired from Pitney Bowes as a clerk in 1993, having been employed for eight years.
Montefuscoli is survived by her children, Jo-Ann Lowman (Cliff), Jeanne Dunn (Donovan), Gennaro Montefuscoli (Robin) and Louisa Dunn (David); 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Cipri of Stamford and Philomena Scognamiglio of Naples, Italy; and sister-in-law, Dora Connolly. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Genaro Montefuscoli; brother, Alexander DiSette; and sister, Jeanne Avantino.
Calling hours are Monday, Nov. 25, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. A procession will leave the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Darien.
