STAMFORD, Conn. - Louis S. Rabita of Stamford died Thursday, Feb. 28. He was 62.
Rabita was born Jan. 7, 1951 in Stamford to Joseph A. and Mary DeRubis Rabita. He was the owner of Lou’s Appliance Repair Co. for 30 years before his retirement this year.
Rabita is survived by his wife Diane; in-laws; a niece and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph A. Rabita, Jr.
Calling hours will be Monday, March 4, from 9 to 11 a.m. at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford at the funeral home. A funeral procession will be leaving Monday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church,1200 Shippan Ave., Stamford. Interment will be private.
The family requests that donations be made in Rabita’s memory to the Stamford Animal Shelter, 201 Magee Ave., Stamford, CT 06902.
