She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Stewart Sprouse; her daughter, Celia Sprouse; her parents Joseph and Maud Simon Chiaia; sister Josie Fraioli and her husband, Carlo, all of Stamford; niece Lianna Melzer and her husband, Danny, of Stamford; and great-nieces Rylee and Madison Melzer.
A celebration of her life will be conducted from 4-8 p.m. Friday with a memorial service to be celebrated at 5 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to The Carl & Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center, 34 Shelburne Road, Stamford, CT 06820.
