Gilbertie was born May 16, 1947, in Stamford, to Nancy (Carella) Skura of Las Vegas, Nev., and Joseph Skura. Raised in Stamford, she attended Stamford schools and worked for many years as a Service Writer in car dealerships in Danbury. She was a member of the Bethel Senior Citizen Center and was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Bethel.
Gilbertie is survived by her husband, Paul Gilbertie; mother, Nancy; sons, Sean Warner (Mary Jo) and Ron Warner (Heidi); four grandchildren; stepson, Stephen Gilbertie (Jennifer); two step-grandchildren; sister, Carol Potts (Nathan); and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph.
