STAMFORD, Conn. - Lillian Barbara Conetta, a resident of Stamford, died Oct. 25. She was 98.
Conetta was born in Manhattan, N.Y., to Placido and Concetta DeDominici. After attending school for accounting, she took a job at Liberty Music on Madison Avenue in New York City. After marriage she settled with her husband in Stamford in 1952.
Conetta is survived by her sister, Grace Turoff (Maurice); sister, Antoinette Henenberg; sisters-in-law, Angela Cristiano and Loretta Serafino; son, Donald Conetta (Leah); daughter, Barbara Conetta; son Thomas (Patricia); six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; cousins; and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Conetta; brother, Joseph DeDominici; and sister, Stella Ditaranto.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4 at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
