STAMFORD, Conn. -- Laura Frances Mix, a resident of Stamford, died Saturday, Dec.19. She was 53.
Mix attended Stamford schools and worked as a receptionist for several local firms, including the Mix family business, Excelsior Hardware Co.
She is survived by two daughters, Amber Mae Winski of Darien and Ashley Ann Winski of Wilton, and by her mother, Dorothy H. Mix of Stamford as well as her brother Frederick Mix also of Stamford.
She was predeceased by her father, John S. Mix.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Gifts may be given to First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Bedford St., Stamford.
