Robustelli was born March 22, 1950, in Greenwich to Edward and Lucy Carlo Joyce. She graduated Stamford Catholic High School and went on to receive a Bachelors Degree from Central Connecticut State University. She later achieved her Master’s Degree from Fairfield University, after which she became a teacher at Toquam School, more recently teaching at Holy Spirit School. Robustelli is survived by her husband, Richard A. Robustelli; mother, Lucy P. Joyce; children, Marc (Margaret) Robustelli, Katie Robustelli, Emily (Luke) Kaufman and Gregory Robustelli; three grandchildren; and brother; Timothy (Kathy) Joyce. She was predeceased by her father, Edward A. Joyce. Calling hours are Tuesday July 2 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. A funeral procession will leave at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 3 from the funeral home and proceed to The Basilica of St. John the Evangelist RC Church, 279 Atlantic St., Stamford, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.
