Adamski was born to Evelyn and Kenneth Junker. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Livingston College of Rutgers University and received her RN from Raritan Valley Community College. She also attended New York University and the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Calif.
During her working career, she was a s registered nurse. She was a volunteer in the used book shop at the Ferguson Library and was a member of Maureen Mathews' Alzheimer's support group.
Adamski is survived by her husband, Peter Joseph Adamski; son, John Kenneth Adamski; sister, Lynn Junker Simms (Preston); nieces, nephews; grand-nephews and a grand-niece; mother-in-law, Melda; and brothers-in-law, Paul (Michele), Mark (Brenda), and Gary (Tim). She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford. Burial of cremains will be held in Hackensack, N.J., at a later date.
