Kathleen P. Walsh, 69, Of Stamford, Longtime IHOP Employee

STAMFORD, Conn. - Kathleen P. Walsh of Stamford died Monday, March 18. She was 69.

Walsh was born March 10, 1944, in County Longford, Ireland, to Frank and Molly Fitzsimons Brady. She worked at the International House of Pancakes over 35 years.

Walsh is survived by her husband, Martin A. Walsh of Bethel; children Terence J. Walsh (Lisa) of Stratford, Ann Marie Walsh of Bethel and Kelly B. Miller (Carlos) of Stamford; sisters Molly, Margaret and Chris; brothers Michael and Francis; five grandchildren; and a great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents; four brothers and a sister.

Calling hours are Thursday, March 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT 06902. A funeral procession will be leaving Friday, March 22, 2013 at 9:20 a.m. from the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget’s of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Ave., Stamford. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford.
