STAMFORD, Conn. - Josephine D. Suttile, a lifelong Stamford resident, died Oct. 22. She was 95.
Suttile was born Oct. 23, 1918, daughter of Joseph Suttile and Frances Dorrico Suttile. She worked as an officer of the former Union Trust Bank for over 45 years. She also volunteered at Saint Mary's Church and Saint John's Church in many capacities.
Suttile is survived by nieces and nephews, Sally Higgins (James), Jo-Ann Smith, Frances Turner, Joseph Suttile (Sandra), Frank Suttile, Anthony Suttile (Caroline), Richard Turner (Carole); and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Rose Journalist, Louise Turner, Frances Suttile, Helen Suttile; brothers, Salvatore Suttile and Anthony Suttile; and nephew, Ronald Turner.
Calling hours are Sunday, Oct. 27 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28 at St. Benedict - Our Lady of Montserrat Church, 1 St. Benedict's Circle, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien.
