John Francis Giglio, 81, Formerly Of Stamford, Owned Custom Video

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.- John Francis Giglio of Saratoga Springs, formerly of Stamford, died Nov. 10. He was 81.

Giglio was born Jan. 8, 1933, in Stamford, to Joseph and Mary Bitetto Giglio. he met the love of his life, Carole Ann Svenningsen. He graduated high from Stamford High School and joined the Navy in 1951. He had two careers, first with Clairol, Bristol Meyers Squib, he retired after 25 years. In 1982 he started Custom Video and retired after 20 years. He played and coached, Tiny League, Little League and Babe Ruth. He retired to Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Giglio is survived by his wife, Carole; children, Thomas John, Cathy Ellen (Hickey), Ann Marie (Romano); six grandchildren; brothers, Joseph and Donald. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert; and grandson, Jake Romano.

Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14 at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Harvester Road, Easton.
