Jody Ann O’Brien, 54, Former Stamford Resident

STAMFORD, Conn. - Jody Ann O’Brien of Southbury died Sept. 30. She was 54.

O’Brien was born Nov. 24, 1958, in Sumpter, S.C., to Lily Ann Pirro and Gerald D. Hogan. She was formerly a resident of Southbury and Stamford.

O’Brien is survived by her mother, Lily Ann Cichon-O’Connell of Stamford; grandmother, Lena R. Cocchia of Stamford; daughters, Michelle Pia-Lawson, of Naugatuck and Rachael O’Brien of Southbury; sons, Wayne Dyer of Maine and Richard O’Brien of Southbury; and two granddaughters. She was predeceased by her father, Gerald; and step-father, Richard J. Cichon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church, 1200 Shippan Ave., Stamford. Interment will be private.
