Huang was born Oct. 1, 1942, in Quanzhou, Fujian, China, to Yuensha Tsai and Jiabin Huang. He was a forest engineer in China and immigrated to Stamford in 1985. He worked in Pitney Bowes as a meter machine specialist until his retirement in 2003.
Huang is survived by his children, Michael Huang (Camille Halliburton) of Mesa, Ariz., Yee Huang (Kari) of Princeton Junction, N.J., Karen Huang and Albert Huang of New Canaan; five grandchildren; siblings, Jingping Huang, Alex Uy Huang (Amy Tang), Jingtai Huang (Eden Huang), Jingyan Huang (Xiaorong Zhou); numerous uncles, aunts; cousins; nieces, nephews; grandnieces; and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford, CT 06905. A funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday December 7 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford.
