STAMFORD, Conn. – Jesse Turner Sr., 75, of Stamford, died Sunday, April 19.
He was born Nov. 19, 1939 in Charleston, S.C., to the late Edward Turner and Lucille McElveen Turner.
Turner was a retired Stamford Water Co. employee.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Gainer Turner; two daughters, Sharon (Thomas) Lamar and Sandra Turner; two sons, Jesse Turner Jr. and Edward Turner; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Downer Funeral Home, 31 Stillwater Ave., Stamford.
Interment will be private.
