Helen Mary Gesualdi, 94, Of Stamford, Seamstress At Southern Mills, Inc.

STAMFORD, Conn. - Helen Mary Gesualdi, a resident of Stamford died Monday, June 3. She was 94.

Gesualdi was born Feb. 6, 1919, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Saverio and Catherine Rainone Gesualdi. She and her family moved to Stamford in 1922, from Philadelphia. She worked as a seamstress in various companies including her last employment at Southern Mills, Inc. of Stamford.

Gesualdi is survived by her niece, Catherine Hess; nephew, John Mori, Sr., both of Stamford; and many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings, Horace Gesualdi, Jennie Gesualdi Mori, Joseph Gesualdi, Concetta Gesualdi Wolven and Mildred Gesualdi.

A graveside service was held privately at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. There were no calling hours.

The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory , 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 were in charge with the arrangements.
