He was born Aug. 19, 1960, in Stamford, the son of Evelyn Dudley Bethea of Stamford and the late Joshua Bethea. He was employed with NAC Re Corporation for a number of years.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Dudley Bethea; three sisters, Inez Bethea Williams, Lora Bethea James (Monroe) and Angela Bethea; brother Ronald Bethea; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his brother John (Bebone) Bethea.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Friday followed by a service of celebration at 11 a.m. at Union Baptist Church, 805 Newfield Ave., Stamford, with the Rev. Dr. Robert W. Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park.
Services have been entrusted to Downer Funeral Home.
