G. Charles Roy, Jr., Worked For KPMG In Stamford

WASHINGTON, D.C. - G. Charles Roy Jr. of Washington, D.C., formerly of Wilton and Westport, Conn., died Sunday, Nov. 16. He was 73.

Roy was born Sept. 18, 1941, in Danbury, Conn., to Gideon and Elizabeth Cuff Roy. He briefly resided in Westport before moving to Washington, D.C. He was the managing director of the Northeast Consulting Group, an executive search and consulting firm. Before that, he was with KPMG, Stamford/New York and its executive search practice.

Roy is survived by his wife, Candace Roy; son, Cayce Roy (Lauren) of Washington; daughters, Courtnie Zuckerberg (Carl) of Westport, and Candace Kuzma of Weston, Conn.; brother, Roger Roy of Hudson, Ohio; sisters, Betsy Milano of San Francisco, Sandra Thorne of Pleasanton, Calif., Virginia Manning of Rockland, Maine, and Therese Roy of Arlington, Va.; and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 21, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Hoyt Funeral Home,199 Main St., New Canaan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton. Interment will be private.
