Frank M. Bologna, 88, Of Stamford, Army Veteran, Retired Carpenter

STAMFORD, Conn. - Frank M. Bologna of Stamford died Aug. 22. He was 88.

Bologna was born March 31, 1925, in New York City, son of Pietro Bologna and Maria (Franco) Bologna. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Local Union 210.

Bologna is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Sullo) Bologna; son, Frank Bologna, Jr. (Loren); daughters, Donna Anderson (John), Patrice Caviola (Rick); brother, Michael Bologna; sister, Emma Piztininzi; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26 at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of ones choice.
